A small porcelain box from the Ca Mau Wreck
The Ca Mau sank off the coast of Vietnam's furtherst point in the South China Sea. Its cargo consisted of chinaware, all from different kilns. From Jingdehzen, Dehua and form Guangdon.
The box was popular under the inhabitants of the Archipelagos, who used them for storing betel nuts, medecine or magic unguents.
